ERGODENTAL 2013

 

This project is based on an ergonomic problem in the work environment of dental hygienists. In several of the interviews made, the ergonimic problem became clear. All of the asked dental hygenists mentioned the problem with patients not being able to lay down during treatment. The dentel hygenists needed to use three tools at ones, extraction and mirror in one hand and scaler in the other. It also meant that they had to bend their neck and back in a non ergonimic position. This tool solves this in combining the mirror and extraction in one tool.
